Feeling like a boss in this outfit, who can do and accomplish anything. This feeling is why I love fashion. Some say that fashion is superficial and just for looks. However, I can definitely disagree. Fashion is powerful. It makes you feel beautiful, it makes you feel like a boss, it makes you feel confident, it makes you feel that you can accomplish anything in the world. Most of all, fashion makes you feel POWERFUL. Fun fact I sewed this silky top from scratch. It was inspired from an asymmetrical tank from undone that was almost $200! So naturally I wanted to recreate it without dropping $200 from my bank account. Plus sewing is so fun to me and I love creating beautiful clothes to wear. Do you also recreate expensive clothing for yourself?

Lately capturing sunlight in my photos have been very important to me because it represents beginnings. Scientists say that the sun was created 4.6 billion years ago, forming the rest of the solar system. They say that the solar nebula collapsed because of the gravity, but it spun faster and faster flattening and becoming what we call the sun. Without beginnings you wouldn’t be where you are in this very moment reading this caption. The sun is our life dependency, we are here because the sun formed from this one big event. We breath the air we breath, we drink the water we drink, we eat the things we eat, we are who we are because of beginnings. Everything starts with a beginning, one choice, one action, one unexpected event can lead to another day for new beginnings. -Another Thursday
I recently shared a blog post about fast fashion, and my opinion on this. After watching a documentary about fast fashion on Netflix, it made me want to change the way I dress. Not changing my style or anything but to own quality clothes that are long lasting and not trendy per say.
